Hey guys Just to Spice up this is Nicky Hilton Looking hot in Bikini

India Vs Australia

Hey guys at last we Lost , It was really shamefull to see our Team India perform against the mighty Aussies . We all know they are tough to beat but they are beatable but atleast what we all expect from our team is fight . This match performance was pathetic we played worst then the Bangladesh team , Infact they would have played better . Our batting performance was worst , It all seemed that they all were running towards the dressing room as if their coffee was getting cold in their dressing room . Nobody played a decent knock . Infact doing postmortem of the match I feel Rahul Dravid should not open because it gives a negative effect for the opponents . Infact when Rahul Dravid opens it seems our batting lineup is weak .

To top it all we failed to score even 200 runs in each innings when our big four are individually capable of scoring a double century that too irrespective of the fact which pitch we are playing and against which Team we are playing .Well guys Hatts Off to Mighty Australians they proved they are better on and off the field . You can your self see Australia bowled out India for just 161 on the fourth day to win the first Test in Melbourne by a convincing 337 runs.

Set 499 to win and beginning Saturday's play on 6-0, India lost their first wicket on 26 and never recovered. Mitchell Johnson claimed three late wickets as the tourists stumbled their way to defeat on a wicket which had deteriorated considerably. VVS Laxman (42) and Sourav Ganguly (40) were the best of a disappointing set of scores from the Indians.

Paceman Brett Lee (2-43) and left-arm spinner Brad Hogg (2-51) were just as impressive as left-arm seamer Johnson as Australia romped to their 15th consecutive Test win.
On a day of excessive heat at the MCG, India's last five wickets fell for just 17 runs, including three in four balls without the addition of a run.

Johnson claimed his first wicket of the match when he had Mahendra Dhoni caught behind by Adam Gilchrist for 11 and Anil Kumble soon followed suit in similar style.
Harbhajan Singh was run out for a duck without facing a ball on the first delivery of the next over, and Ganguly departed two balls later - caught at silly mid-off off Hogg.
The Thing which was most dissapoiting was that the wicket on which Team India played was probably more suited to a subcontinental style of play.

Number 11 RP Singh lasted 20 deliveries before chopping Johnson onto his stumps, and the match was won. Ricky Ponting's side are just two wins away from surpassing the Steve Waugh-led Australian team that won 16 Tests on the bounce from 1999 to 2001.

Ponting said: "We played excellent cricket all the way through. To walk off the field at the end of day four with a 337-run win against a very good Indian team is obviously very satisfying.
"It's a really pleasing win because the wicket we played on was probably more suited to a subcontinental style of play, and we've adapted and done it really well."

India captain Kumble, whose team were on top for a period on day one, said: "It hurts, not just as an individual but as team that we haven't put up a good show.
"I can tell you we will address that and try to put up a better show in Sydney.
"It's mainly a mental thing and that is something we will address so we are hungry for success when we go to Sydney".

" It just took one Bad Day at the office by India for Australia to have a Stranglehold possibly on the Entire Series "

In truth, the damage had been done on the second day when India made just 196 in their first innings, but the margin of victory was wider than many would have predicted before the start.
Lee had given Australia a good start to day four by removing opener Wasim Jaffer in the eighth over of the morning with a delivery outside off-stump which the right-hander fenced at, and edged to Gilchrist.

Rahul Dravid - as strokeless as he had been in the first innings - managed to last two and a half hours in all, but provided just 16 runs to the cause.
He was finally removed when Andrew Symonds cut a ball into his pads in front of off-stump and India were 56-2 at lunch.
Australia took three more wickets in the second session.
Sachin Tendulkar lasted just 21 balls before edging an attempted drive off Lee to Gilchrist, Laxman mistimed a forcing shot off Stuart Clark to cover, and Yuvraj Singh was lbw to a quick one from Hogg after an all-too-brief innings of five.
Gilchrist ended the day with 399 Test dimissals, setting a new Australia record, with only South Africa's current wicket-keper Mark Boucher in front of him.

The second Test begins in Sydney from 2 January, with two further matches to come.

India Vs Australia .... Boxing Day

Hey guys same old story our team India was blasted by pace by the mighty Australians and our team fell down like bunch of cards the only resistance came from oldies our masterblaster TenDulkar and some from fighting DaDa ( Saurav Ganguly )

Indian skipper Anil Kumble truly led from the front on Wednesday, the first day of the five-day Boxing Day Test being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Kumble stopped the Australian batsmen in their tracks after they had put on an imposing 135 for the opening partnership. He grabbed 5 for 84, reducing the home side to 337 for nine at the close.

The only redeeming feature of the Australian innings was a sixth Boxing day Test century by opener Matthew Hayden. At the close, tailenders Mitchell Johnson and Stuart Clark were batting on 10 and 21 respectively. Kumble took the wickets of Phil Jacques, Michael Hussey, Andrew Symonds, Adam Gilchrist and Brett Lee. Zaheer Khan took three wickets, while left arm fast bowler R.P. Singh took the wicket of captain aspirant Michael Clarke.

Hayden has now made a century in every Boxing Day Test since 2001-02 except against Pakistan three seasons ago. By the end of the day it was India who were having a more festive season. Earlier, at the start of play, Kumble decided to play Rahul Dravid as an opener, leaving out Virender Sehwag, while Ponting opted to field left-arm Chinaman bowler Brad Hogg in place of pace bowler Shaun Tait. Sourav Ganguly, who is playing his 100th Test, was felicitated by Indian batting great Sunil Gavaskar, captain Anil Kumble on behalf of the team, and Board of Control for Cricket in India Secretary Niranjan Shah .

Stuart Clark and fellow paceman Brett Lee claimed four wickets apiece as Australia dismissed India for 196 runs to take a big lead after the second day of the first cricket test Thursday. Clark (4-28) took two wickets from three balls either side of the tea break and Lee (4-46) cleaned up the tail end to close out an outstanding innings for the Australian bowlers on a deteriorating Melbourne Cricket Ground wicket. After having Yuvraj Singh caught behind for a duck on the last ball before tea, Clark completed his over after the break by trapping Mahendra Dhoni lbw without conceding a run. Matthew Hayden was unbeaten on 22 and Phil Jaques had 10 at stumps to give Australia a second-innings total of 32 and a lead of 179 after ending the first innings on 343 earlier Thursday.

EGGNOG DAY

Drinking eggnog is a tradition that forms a basic part of the Christmas festivities. On Eggnog Day, tell your friends/ family/ beloved/ near ones to drink eggnog and enjoy the spirit of merrymaking .

Eggnog Day Is On 24 th December

The other day, Jennifer and I were discussing the merits of adding rum to eggnog . I am definitely game for it. Steve walked in and told us about his experience with egg nog. When he was a kid, he owned a Dalmatian called Dudley. Dudley lived outside in his dog house, but when the cold winter came, the dog would stay in his house up in Steve's room.

He said, "One year, my parents decided to have a Christmas party. My mother made her Egg Nog Punch and was making a huge bowl for the party. She put me on deviled egg prep, while she measured out the rum and brandy to be added to the mixture."

'This egg nog is just for the grownups, you hear?' she said to me, 'I'll save some plain egg nog for you and your brothers in the refrigerator.' Now, I love a good cup of homemade egg nog and I was planning on drinking most of it before my brothers even found out it was there," Steve said.

"Once it was ready, she went to get ready for the party. I put the big punch bowl on the buffet table with the rest of the food, then I went for the egg nog in the refrigerator, saved just for us." Just like Steve to focus on the important things, I thought. "Next thing I heard was a scream from the dining room. My mother was yelling and cursing at someone. Then I saw Dudley running at me from that direction, his whole face covered in egg nog!" laughed Steve.

"'That dog just drank a whole punch bowl of egg nog!' Mom cried. She wasn't that upset about the egg nog as she was about the rum and brandy that had been in it. It was clear that Dudley was in distress. A human only has two legs to coordinate – Dudley had four and they just weren't working together. After two desperate attempts to walk, he simply fell down clocking his head on the floor," said Steve.

"Oh,no!" cried Jennifer , "What did you do?" Steve replied, "Well, the party was in full swing by now, and our town vet had arrived. He popped his head in to see Dudley."

"The vet said 'I heard about Dudley's little escapade. How is he?' I pointed to him. The vet checked his vitals and said, 'Good thing, your mom doesn't have a heavy hand with the liquor. Dudley will be fine – he's going to sleep it off just fine.' Next time you make egg nog," Steve said, "Save a cup or two for me, and be sure to safe guard it from Kong!"

Fitting Into Those Jeans Is A Matter Of Your Genes !!

Obesity : It claims so many lives each year ! Obesity means having a high amount of body fat , high cholestrol or if he or she has a body mass indes ( BMI )of 30 kg/m2 or higher. Obesity causes a high risk of diabetes , cardiac diseases , cancer and many more . But it is still not clear how some people are obese while others with similar lifestyle manage to stay slim ? When compared intake of food by both is same ? Many people are paranoid with fat-ness and undergo different slimming methods that are not at all ' risk free ' . Recently scientists discovered a genetic cause for obesity. A gene called the 'FTO' affects the Hypothalamus . The affected region starts to sense appetite. When a person is very hungry ' FTO ' takes over . The hungry victim starts to eat much more than the needed. Obesity is the result .
The discovery of the obesity gene is a brekthrough in Health - Technology and can help us in ultimately finding a cure to this disease . That well be one major leap for mankind .

Sikh History : - Historic Day

Historic Day Alert : 21st Dec Shaheedi Divas of Baba Ajit Singh & Baba Jujhar Singh (vade sahibzade of dasam pita Guru Gobind Singh ji).

The shaheedi took place at Chamkaur Sahib for which a great poet Alla Yaar Khan Jogi has written

" BAS EK HI TIRATH HAI HINDUSTAN ME YATRA KE LIYE
JAHAN BAAP NE KATAYE BACCHE KHUDA KE LIYE "

WAHEGURUJI KA KHALSA WAHEGURUJI KI FATEH

Baba Ajit Singh and Jujhar Singh Ji

In ordinary speech the word 'Baba' means 'grandfather' or 'an old man'. Hence, on reading the heading of this true story you might be led to think that it relates to some old men. But that is not the case. When the events narrated below took place, Baba Ajit Singh and Baba Jujhar Singh were in their teens. Then, you might ask, why are they called Babas? The explanation is this. Among the Sikhs the word Baba is also applied to one worthy of high respect. It means 'Most Respected.' The sons of the Sikh Gurus were called 'Babas' from the very beginning of their lives. That is why the word 'Baba' is applied to the Guru Gobind Singh's sons.

BABA AJIT SINGH Ji

Baba Ajit Singh was the eldest of the four sons of the Guru Gobind Singh. He was born at Anandpur on January 7, 1687. From his early life he was given the sort education and training that befitted the saint-soldiers of Guru Gobind Singh. He acquired wonderful proficiency in the use of weapons of war, especially the bow and the arrow. He was also an excellent swordsman. He was strong and a brave warrior. He began to take part in the Guru's wars very early in life. He performed astonishing feats of bravery on several occasions. No danger or difficulty could ever daunt him. No danger could deter him from his path of duty. Once a Brahman came to Guru Gobind Singh's darbar. He complained that his newly-wedded wife had been taken away by force be some Pathans of Bassi, near Hoshiarpur. Baba Ajit Singh offered to help Brahman to recover his wife. With a band of young brave Sikhs, Baba Ajit Singh fell upon Bassi during the night. He arrested the Pathans responsible for the wicked deed. He recovered the Brahman's wife. He took the wicked Pathans to Anandpur the following morning. The Brahman's wife was restored to him. The wicked Pathans were punished, suitably and severely.
Years later, Anandpur was besieged by the Mughal armies from Sarhind and Lahore. They were commanded by Nawab Wazir khan and Nawab Zabardast Khan, respectively. All the hill chiefs, who were Hindus, joined them with their armies. One day, during the siege, the two commanders of the imperial army sent a messenger to the Guru. He was told to give this message to him : 'This army is not one belonging to petty hill chiefs. It is that of the great and mighty Emperor Aurangzeb. You will not be able to oppose it for long. You should show respect to the emperor, give up fighting, and embrace Islam.' Baba Ajit Singh was standing near the Guru. The messenger's words aroused his anger. He drew his sword and said, 'Shut up. If you utter another word, I shall humble your pride. I will cut off your head from your body. I will cut you to pieces for daring to speak such insolent words before the Guru.' The messenger said nothing more. He went away, humbled and burning with rage.
The siege of Anadpur caused great hardships to the Guru and his Sikhs. The besiegers were also getting tired. They sent message after message to the Guru. They said, 'Vacate the fort. Go where you like. We swear on the Quran and the cow that you will not be harmed.

' The Guru was sure that the oaths were false. He was not in favor of placing any trust in them. But he was prevailed upon, chiefly be his mother, to vacate the fort. He did so during the night of December 20,1704. As soon as the besiegers realized this, they forgot their oaths and fell upon the Guru's party. Baba Ajit Singh, with a party of Sikhs, held up the enemy, while the rest were crossing the river Sarsa. When all had crossed, he and his party plunged their horses into the flooded river. They soon reached the other bank. The enemy did not have the courage to jump into the fast-flowing ice-cold water of the flooded stream. After crossing the Sarsa, Guru hurried towards Chamkaur. He had only forty Sikhs with him, beside his two elder sons. The Mughal army was coming after him. He learnt that another Mughal army lay only a few miles away ahead of him. He was thus between two large armies. He decided to meet them at Chamkaur. He reached there about sunset. He occupied a mud-house or haveli, and began to wait for the enemy.
The Mughals armies arrived during the night. They besieged the mud-house on the following day. They attacked it from all sides. They had to retreat every time after suffering heavy losses. Then they decided to force open the gate. They rushed towards it. A batch of five Sikhs went out to meet them holding their advance as long as possible. The Sikhs fought very bravely. They killed many at last they were over-powered and slain. Then another batch of five Sikhs went out to meet the enemy and check his advance. This went on for some time. The enemy suffered heavily at the hands of each batch of Sikhs. After a time, Guru Gobind Singh's eldest son, Baba Ajit Singh, asked permission to go out and oppose the enemy. He said, 'Dear father, my name is Ajit or Unconquerable. I will not be conquered. And if conquered, I will not flee or come back alive. Permit me to go, dear father.' He was less than eighteen years of age. The Guru knew what the end of his son would be. But were not they who had already fallen also his sons ? He hugged and kissed Baba Ajit Singh for the last time. He then bade him go out and seek martyrdom and life everlasting.
Baba Ajit Singh went out. He was accompanied by five Sikhs. At first they poured a rain of arrows on the enemy. He fought like a hero. Soon his stock of arrows was exhausted. He took out his lance and sprang upon the enemy. He was wounded but he fought on as bravely as ever. Baba Ajit Singh thrust his lance into the heart of a Muhammedan soldier. The soldier wore steel armour. The lance got stuck in the armour. Baba Ajit Singh tried to pull it out. It broke in two. He drew his sword and fell upon the enemy. But he was overpowered. He fell. He was martyred. His soul went to meet his grandfather at the Almighty's darbar. The Guru had been watching his son from the roof of the mud-house. He had admired and rejoiced at the skill, strength, and bravery shown by his son. He had seen him wounded. He saw him fall. He thanked God that his son had met a saint-warrior's death, that he had achieved martyrdom and eternal life.

Baba Jujhar Singh

Baba Jujhar Singh was the second son of Guru Gobind Singh. He was born in March 1689. He, too, had the same training as his elder brother. Like Baba Ajit Singh, he accompanied the Guru to Chamkaur. Baba Jujhar Singh had also watched his elder brother fighting with the enemy. He had seen him fall. At once he stood before his father with folded hands. He made the same request as his elder brother had done. 'Permit me, dear father,' said he, 'to go where my brother has gone. Don't say that I am too young. I am your son. I am Singh or Lion of yours. I shall prove worthy of you. I shall die fighting, with my face towards the enmy, with God and the Guru on my lips and in my heart.'

Baba Jujhar Singh was then less than sixteen years of age. The Guru was pleased to hear what he had said. He embraced him. He gave him a sword and a shield. On his turban he planted a small crest, such as bridegrooms wear. 'Go my son,' said he, 'and wed life-giving death. We have been here for a while. Now we shall return to our real home. Go and wait for me there. Your grandfather and elder brother are already waiting for you.'
The lad of less than sixteen, thus armed, went out with five Sikhs. He fought as bravely and fearlessly as his elder brother had done. Many a mighty warrior fell before the child-warrior. But the odds were too heavily loaded against him. He was overpowered. He died fighting to the last. The Guru was watching all this When he saw his son fall, he thanked God that his son had proved a worthy saint-warrior, and achieved martyrdom and life everlasting.

Confident India Arrive In Australia

Anil Kumble (left), and Mahendra Singh Dhoni shortly after arriving in Melbourne.
The Indian cricket team arrived in Australia on Tuesday full of optimism ahead of their four-test series . India have never won a test series in Australia but held out for a 1-1 draw on their last visit four years ago when Saurav Gangauly was captain of Indian cricket team . Captain Anil Kumble said they were hoping to go one better this time."It means a lot, we came pretty close to doing that the last time we came here," Kumble told reporters at Melbourne Airport."We did extremely well in the last test series, so it's going to be very crucial for all of us."India have good reason to feel confident having won each of their last three series -- against Pakistan, England and Bangladesh -- as well as this year's inaugural Twenty20 World Cup.It may also be the last chance for many of the team's more senior players to win in Australia , something that has not escaped Kumble."Most of the senior cricketers are here on their last tour of Australia, so it's very important we go back victorious," Kumble said."It means a lot to all of us in the team and also it means a lot to Indian cricket."Not many teams have come here and gone home victorious, so it's a great opportunity for all of us and we look forward to that."India begin their tour with a three-day first-class match against Victoria on Thursday before the first test starts in Melbourne on December 26.They will also play tests in Sydney, Perth and Adelaide before Sri Lanka join them and Australia for a triangular limited-overs series .
